The Silver Buckle - Rococo Cover

The Silver Buckle. One of my all time favorite editions! A children’s book of the French Revolution. Features a lovely rococo Marie Antoinette on the cover in a pink and blue gown. Pink and blue floral design halo are her. this is one of the best covers I have seen for coloring. Many are more faded than this one. Published by Henry Altemus 1899. Significant bumping and rubbing to corners and edges consistent with these editions. Binding is delicate but all pages intact. Top and bottom damage to spine. Pages clean but lightly toned. Very Good vintage condition. Please note that this is a vintage item and will show its age.
