Very rare and hard to find edition of Professor at the Breakfast Table. White cloth boards with a white Iris pastedown on the front in an oval frame. Ornate blind stamp design over front cover and spine with gold gilt. Some flaking to the gilt. Some soiling to cover and spine. Published by Hurst and Co. Undated c1890. Minor bumping to corners and top and bottom of spine. Inscription on inside front endpaper dated Dec 25, 1906. Otherwise pages clean with mild toning.front hinge cracked and pulling lose from binding but still currently intact. All pages are tight to binding. Good condition. Please note that this is a vintage item and will show its age.
