Set of 3 Blue Books with Floral Spines Wrapped in Vintage Blush Pink Ribbon

This beautiful set of blue, gold and white books are perfect for the vintage lover! This set features the Poetical Works of Thomas Hood, the Professor at the Breakfast Table and A New England Nun and Other Stories. This set comes tied with a bow made from lovely blush pink ribbon embroidered with bows. 

The Poetical Works of Thomas Hood: Published by Hurst and Co. Undated c 1890. Inscribed on front endpaper 1894. Lovely Royal Blue cloth with silver floral detail and gold title blocks. Gold gilt page edges all around. Minimal bumping to corners and edges. Front and back hinges cracked. Pages significantly toned. Front endpaper torn on bottom half at spine. Overall good vintage condition. 

The Professor at the Breakfast Table: Light blue cloth with golden yellow floral pattern on front cover and spine. Published by Hurst & Co. Undated c1900. Some flaking to front cover and spine. Title page separated. Minor jumping to corners and edges. Front and back hinge cracked. Spine loose but all pages appear to be present. Overall good vintage condition.  

A New England Nun and Other Stories: Light blue cloth binding with gold gilt detail on cover and spine. Cameo detail on front cover. Published in 1891 by Harper & Brothers. First edition. Fading and soiling to spine. Significant bumping and rubbing to corners and edges. Some soiling to front and back cover. Missing front end paper but title page is present. One or two loose pages and a few marks here and there. Overall fair vintage condition.
