Red Letter Poems with beautiful floral cover

Red Letter Poems by English Men and Women featuring the works of Shakespeare, Pope, Milton, Chaucer, Wordsworth and many more. Published my T.Y. Crowell, 1885. Cream spine with gold gilt details. Lovely floral design on the quarter boards of pink roses and blue and orange flowers. Gold gilded edges to pages on all three sides. Ex-library copy but without a ton of markings. Appears it was part of a private convent library. Small marking on the spine and a very few inside. Other than those, pages are clean and bright. Guttering along the front cover but binding tight and intact. Bumping and rubbing to corners and edges of covers and along spine as to be expected with this editions. This is a larger format than most of the floral covers. Truly lovely edition. Good condition.  Please note that this is a vintage item and will show its age.
