Mothers and Fathers

Lovely first edition of Mothers and Fathers by Juliet Wilbur Tompkins. Published in 1910 by The Baker & Taylor Co. It is a collection of short stories regarding parenthood. Cream/butter colored cloth with red and green Art Nouveau rose design on the cover.  The design continues to the endpapers where the colors are changed to a lovely pastel pink and mint green. I am simply obsessed with these endpapers to put it lightly. Some soiling to covers and spine. Minimal bumping and rubbing to corners and edges on covers. Bumping on top and bottom of spine. Previous owner’s name on front endpapers. Otherwise pages are free from markings. Some toning to pages. Small separation beginning to occur at frontispiece but binding and all pages are intact. Good+ condition. Please note that this is a vintage item and will show its age.
