Deep red/wine cloth boards with gold gilt design featuring angels and wreaths of garlands. Gilt in very good condition. Very festive cover design. Page edges on top are gilded. Minor bumping to spine and corners. Binding cracking at page 160 but intact. German ex libris sticker on inside front cover. Inscription on inside front endpaper dated 1913 with pastedown of text. Several pastedowns of photographs through first few pages including title page. Pastedowns on back page. Otherwise pages clean and bright. Good condition. Please note that this is a vintage item and will show its age.
