Harvest Romance 3 Book Chesnut, Green and Pumpkin Floral Barton Cottage Set

In medieval times, the end of September brought with it the Harvest festival signaling the last of crops being harvested for the winter season.  The Harvest festival was a time of dancing, drinking, eating and love.  I wanted to bring the joy and beauty of a successful harvest season to your home and book collection with these Harvest Romance Barton Cottage sets.   These sets feature traditional fall and harvest colors of coffee, wheat, navy, pumpkin, taupe and sage.  

This set features some of my favorite books and they actually came from my personal collection. I just have so many books and I am trying to winnow them down a bit so that it's not quite so overwhelming to find somewhere to put them.  These books are in a pumpkin, sage, chestnut, gold and red color palette.  They each have beautiful floral covers and spines.  The come wrapped in a double wrap of hand torn ribbon in with a wine colored vintage rose floral design and vintage lace that ends in a bow.  Tucked into the back of the set are sprigs of wheat along with a spray rose.

Reveries of a Bachelor. This is a scarce and hard to find edition published by Altemus and Co.  You will find several of this style currently available here. This is due to the fact that these are coming from my personal collection and I had collected quite a few of them over the years. Bound in cloth the color of pumpkins, this set has a stunning red and gold floral design along the front cover and spine with gold butterflies in each cover of front cover. Undated c1890.

The Swiss Family Robinson. Another scare and hard to find edition published by Routledge.  Undated c1900.  Features numerous illustrations throughout.  Bound in sage green cloth with a floral design of chestnut colored florals and leaves the color of coffee.  Ornate Title plate in gold gilt on both cover and spine. Gilt in good condition.

Poems by Whittier. Published by HM Caldwell. Undated c1900.  This edition is bound in cream cloth with a green and red floral design on both front and back cover along with the spine. 

Book condition will vary. Please note that Barton Cottage sets are meant to be shabby chic and will not be in pristine condition. These are vintage items and will show their age.
