Half a Dozen Housekeepers with Pink Floral Cover

Beautiful edition of Half-A-Dozen Housekeepers; a novel for girls. By Kate Douglas Wiggins. Burgundy cloth boards with brooms on either side and a pink rose garland in between. Published by Henry Altemus in 1903. Very much a scarce book. I have only ever come across a few of these and each in different colors! Some flaking to design on cover. Some bumping and rubbing to corners and edges as well as top and bottom of spine. Binding tight. Pages clean but toned. Page 161 has been torn and taped.  Good+ condition. Please note that this is a vintage item and will show its age.
